Spiced Brown Rice-
For a change in your regular rice and a bit of
a kick:
2.25 C. Water
1 C. Brown Rice - Short Grain
1 Tbs. Medium Chili Powder
1/2 Tbs.
Dark Chili Powder
1 Tbs. Salt 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp. Onion Salt
1 tsp. Basil
1/2 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
Bring water and salt to a boil. Add
rice and other ingredients. Lower heat to low and simmer for 1 hour. Remove
from heat and let rest for a few more minutes.
