Brett's Super Burgers

Ever had the urge for a burger...but want to stay on diet? Even though I am a personal Trainer, I still love a great burger! What do you do? I just created this awesome burger recipe that is lean, healthy, and awesome flavor! It will keep in the refrigerator for several days and just keeps getting better. I'm planning to serve these at a BBQ this Memorial Day Weekend!

Ingredients can vary, but I like good quality lean ground meats from a natural food store because they tent to have more care and higher quality ground meats...and they tend to have different types which makes a better burger...IMO!

OK, here is a recipe that will feed several people or make several different meals for 1 or 2 (FYI, all meat can be changed if you want):

Combine:
1LB Extra Lean Ground Beef
1.5 LB Ground Buffalo
.5 LB Ground Pork - lean is preferred
.5 LB Ground Veal
1/4 Cup Catsup
1/4 Cup Chipotle and Berry BBQ Sauce
1 Tbsp Kosher Salt
1 Tbsp Fresh Cracked Pepper
1 Tbsp Granulated Garlic
1 Tbsp Dry Mustard
1 Tsp Ginger Powder
1 Tsp Turmeric
1 Tsp Onion Powder

Let this mixture sit in the refrigerator until you are ready for it. Over night is the best! I like to vacuum seal it with a FoodSaver
